“I work as a business developer and strategist at AEB, having joined in 2021 as a process technologist. My role focuses on driving sustainability and innovation, particularly in our goal to increase recycling rates from 3% to 30%. The dynamic environment at AEB provides both challenges and opportunities, which makes the work exciting and fulfilling. 

I’m proud to contribute to AEB’s mission of advancing circularity, and my ambition is to lead projects that transform the company into a more sustainable and circular business. I want to help AEB become a global leader in the circular economy by exploring new technologies and strategies beyond waste incineration. 

As a woman in a predominantly male industry, I’ve faced challenges but have always found support from colleagues. My focus has always been on my expertise and contributions, and I see the growing inclusivity in the sector as a positive change. To young women considering this field, I say go for it—it’s a rewarding and evolving industry with plenty of opportunities to make a real impact.  

In my personal life, I find balance by staying grounded and inspired by nature, as well as by the support of my family and friends. The values I hold most important are integrity, collaboration, and respect, as they are the foundation of success in both work and relationships.
